Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park

Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park is located in southwest Pensacola. The state park is a 4,290-acre preserve northwestern Florida. Tar kiln Bayou includes a picnic area hiking trails and a small pier on Tarkiln Bayou. There is a half-mile long ADA boardwalk to Tarkiln Bayou.

This park is home to four types of endangered pitcher plants and other rare plant species.

Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park is located in Escambia County about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 98 and State Road 293.
