A Look at Johnson Beach on Perdido Key

Johnson Beach is located on Perdido Key and is part of the Gulf Island National Seashore.  Johnson Beach is the outdoor lover’s paradise.  On Johnson Beach you will enjoy both bay side and gulf side scenery. There are nice, clean restrooms, picnic tables, and a boardwalk called Perdido Key Discovery Trail. The cost is $8 per visit or $25 for a season pass. The pass is good at any National Seashore including Fort Pickens and Opal Beach.

  3. The one park ranger(forgot her name) is not friendly towards SUP company’s simply dropping off and picking up boards for clients. It’s not legal to accept $ on the premises but she doesn’t even allow the drop off’s…be aware if you are trying to show clients the beauty of this area.
