The 7th Annual Blackwater Bicycle Festival will take place this Saturday and will be a lot of fun for the whole family. Proceeds go to benefit the trail.
When: May 12, 2012
Where: Blackwater Heritage State Trail Visitor Center at 5533 Alabama St. in Milton (next to the Milton Library).
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Custom & Vintage Bicycle Show & Contest
Trophies will be awarded in a Bicycle Show for a variety of categories with a $5 per bike entrance fee.
Rally Ride – Ride the trail 1 to 20 miles
Registration: $10 for Adults; $5 for Children 12 and Under
Prizes includes free lunch and other goodies. Ride will be unsupported, with no refreshments, medical, or ride support (for flat tires) en route. The ride is very casual:
- Ride whenever you want before 3 p.m.
- Ride at your own pace (it’s not a race)
- Ride how ever far you want.
- Record your miles to let us know how far you rode.
Kid’s Games, Great Family Fun, Delicious Food, Silent Auction, and Lots More!
There will be many cycles to see and opportunities to test ride. Bring your cycle or creation and add to the fun!
The trail is ADA accessible, so we encourage participation by the physically-disabled in all trail events.
